As a teacher I cannot stress enough the value of following your dreams within your educational journey. Believe in yourself and your abilities to make a positive impact in the lives of your students and thus the world in general.
When I preach this (or even touch on it) I sometimes find that my listeners (mainly other teachers) are interested yet not really that inspired. This is all part of the challenge of having faith that what you do day to day as a teacher counts. As much as this has been the catch cry of many educational campaigns over the years, this seems to fade in and out like a fashion trend. Here today but gone tomorrow.
The truth worth of yourself as a teacher comes through sheer determination to be your best for each day. And as much as some days are definitely better than others, I encourage you to keep coming back again and again (and again and again).
Have faith that the educational boundaries that you face are there to make you better. They are there as an opportunity for you to go beyond what it is that you already know. Therefore allowing you to push beyond anything that you have ever been lead to believe.
Remember that extraordinary people in this world do not always begin this way. They just keep believing in a better version of themselves and persevere and persist until this becomes their reality. Every creation begins with a dream.
Be the Legendary Teacher that you were born to be.
